The Journey of Therapeutic Rider to Para Equestrian Athlete
Physically disabled individuals who commence on a therapeutic equestrian track for rehabilitation and recreation, find themselves restricted when they have exceeded their current therapeutic organization’s goals for them.
These equestrian organizations provide a safe and proper foundation. However, for riders who wish to challenge themselves further, Para Equestrian Sport should be considered.
Para Equestrian Sport requires instructors with a specialized skill set.
A Para Coach will excel in their coaching philosophy and will guide an athlete – from therapeutic to emerging, and for those who qualify, to international status.
