Athlete Classification

A Classification Profile is established to assess the athlete’s individual strength, mobility, and coordination. Athletes with comparable ability Profiles are then grouped into competition Grades I through V. Grades range from most impaired, Grade I to the least impaired, Grade V. With this process, each individual athlete will compete within each individual Grade and consequently be judged on their equestrian skill irrespective of the athlete’s impairment.
